We would like to extend a warm invitation to all qualified referees to join us on tour at ESF26 at Butlin’s and Haven.
With over 1000 youth football teams participating it’s set to be another fantastic year at ESF, and we hope you’d like to be part of the experience. Quite simply, there would be no ESF without our fantastic team of referees. Each year, over 400 referees from all corners of the UK join us and play an integral role in staging the UK’s biggest youth football festival.
To join our fantastic team of referees at ESF26, click the ‘Apply Now’ button and submit an application form as soon as possible. Please note that referees places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
There are three referee packages to choose from, as detailed below.
If you’re looking to make this season one to remember, look no further. ESF26 is a series of professionally organised youth football festivals that brings over 10,000 young footballers, 2,000 coaches and 500 Tournament Referees together, for a fantastic touring weekend of football and fun at Butlin’s & Haven.
We’re proud to say that since the very first ESF Festival in 1989, over 1.75 Million people have joined us on tour at ESF!
The experience of being away on tour together is fantastic for referees, especially for Referee Societies and groups of referees. Referees are typically scheduled up to six shortened 9-a-side matches, or up to eight shortened Mini-Soccer games over the Saturday and Sunday. Accommodation is provided from Friday to Monday, along with Butlin’s/Haven entertainment passes, so there’s great fun to be had after the football finishes each day!
With dramatic sound and lighting effects, an electric atmosphere and celebrity guests, our spectacular presentation ceremonies are the perfect way to close the festival in style.
It’s a proud moment for the parents and coaches, as each team gets their moment of glory on the big stage at the ESF26 presentation ceremony. Our team of referees are also invited on stage to received their custom ESF26 medal from our VIP Special Guest!
